2020 New Year’s Resolutions

We’re back in the ’20s

First of all, happy new year! I can’t believe its already 2020; 2018 was literally yesterday. Secondly… it’s my birthday month!! According to a family tradition, this means that I’m officially the ‘boss of the month’ and I can finally do stuff like getting a haircut (which I wasn’t originally allowed to do because practically everyone wants my hair to grow longer while I prefer an above-the-shoulder length). Basically, life is awesome right now.

Update: I finally ended up getting a haircut during my trip to Turkey! Read more about the trip here.

The List

  1. Try meditation
  2. Set a workout routine
  3. Fix my waking up and sleeping schedule
  4. Have a healthier diet
  5. Set a hair and skin care routine
  6. Read (minimum) 5 new classics
  7. Get a hair cut (yes, this counts as a resolution).
  8. Get amazing grades
  9. Go for an internship
  10. Be consistent with blogging
  11. Make and maintain a bullet journal (I’m super excited for this one)
  12. Try out photography
  13. Be more organised (at school and at home)
  14. because I can’t have 13 resolutions.

Well, it isn’t the most interesting list of resolutions but it’s practical enough for me. I know that this post has been long overdue but that’s because I’ve been travelling and I didn’t take any gadgets with me. Being cut off from everything seemed a bit weird initially but gosh, it helped me focus on enjoying my trip. I’m not home yet but when I do get there, I’ll be posting quite a few blogposts about the amazing time I had- and the amazing time I’m still having!

Haha and I would either have 10 resolutions or 15, instead of the odd 13/14! Love reading your blog. Can’t wait to hear about the trip!
